Created conceptual drawings for new products to be used as templates for factory production. Designed all marketing materials to introduce new products at trade shows and for customers’ show rooms. Worked closely with printers to ensure color consistency between printed materials, web content, and various mediums, such as cement products, stone and fabrics. Assisted in creating color palette to suit the needs of customers and growing trends in home decorating and fashion. Worked closely with customers and factory to design custom products and colors. Oversaw the design and implementation of company website while working closely with web design firm. Utilized Illustrator CS2, InDesign CS2, Photoshop CS2 to create all art work. Design and print all custom computer-generated graphics, original illustrations and layout designs for customers from various organizations throughout the installation, as assigned by the supervisor. Each project includes selection of the proper text placement (layout) and color schemes in relation to media type, size and communication goals. Layouts include full color signs, posters, banners, invitations, brochures, advertisements, digital photo manipulation and vinyl graphics. Most projects also call for finishing services, such as, laminating, mounting, binding and/or custom mats. I also provide on location photography and video services for various functions at the request of customers. Work is independently planned and prioritized while some large projects call for a team-coordinated environment with 6 Graphic Artists on hand to assist. Every project is then finalized with the customer's agreement. I work on PCs for design purposes and utilize the following for final production: Canon 2400 printer and flat bed scanner, HP DesignJet 1050 poster printer, Encad 600 poster printer, Encad 850 poster printer, and Wizard Computerized Mat Cutter. Oversaw the design and printing processes of all custom graphic and layout designs for customers and store use such as stationary setups, business card design, oversized banners and posters, vinyl graphics, invitation packages, advertisements and digital photo manipulation. Work was independently planned and prioritized then coordinated in a team environment with the production manager and assistant graphic artist and finalized with the customer's agreement. I worked on Mac and PCs for design purposes and utilized the following for final production: Fiery X12 printer, Xerox Docucolor 6060 digital printer, HP DesignJet 5500ps poster printer, Epson flat bed scanner and Roland vinyl plotter. Headed publicity campaign for Mentoring program, Created new email newsletter, Worked with design team to redesign intranet, In charge of designing all slides for Electronic Bulletin Board, In charge of Marketing Proposal research and presentation. Worked with Macromedia Freehand, Macromedia Flash and Adobe Photoshop to create all original artwork for company intranet. Used Macromedia Dreamweaver to edit and update current intranet pages as well as create new pages in order to keep intranet up to date and readily available for all State Farm employees.
